Purposeful Giving

Ephesians 4:28 " 28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. " Have you ever asked what's my purpose? Maybe, what's God's will for my life? Well the straightforward answer is repent (if you haven't already) and get to work. :) Well it's not just get to work because that would be self focused and I think that is our main problem!! If someone is truly repentant then they will not just work for themselves but they will work for others. How could you not considering the grace we have been given? Isn't it crazy how we stick to the don't dos rather than getting into the DOs in the Bible? You know stuff like:  Mark 12 " 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You s

I thought it would be neat to share something that is not talked about much... the faith of a couple of midwives . It doesn't sound so glorious but it's awesome how they were used by God! Exodus 1 "8 Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. 9 And he said to his people, “Look, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we; 10 come, let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and it happen, in the event of war, that they also join our enemies and fight against us, and so go up out of the land.” 11 Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. I'm a good person

I’ve got some bad news for you: You’re not good! I know this may come as a surprise but momma’s little pumpkin is truly a sinner...no matter how much mamma loves you. Guess what? I’m a sinner too. My momma loves me but she truly recognizes I’m a sinner and is willing to admit it. In fact, she even believes she is a sinner. You may be upset or even indignant towards discussion of you actually being not good. How much more so because I said you’re a sinner? Do keep in mind I’m just agreeing with God about what He says about us. I ask for a moment of your time to consider what is written below. I pray you will take heed to what God says to all of us: Romans 3 10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. 12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” Um..ok, so God is apparently saying: there is no one righteous, not
